LOC Border Kashmir: Terrorists Hiding In Kashmir Valley

LOC Border Kashmir: Terrorists hiding in Kashmir valley to save lives. The success of the security forces against terror in Kashmir is that now the terrorists are not getting any space above ground to save their lives. They are not getting shelter even in the homes of common people.

In such a situation, terrorists are now engaged in making underground bunkers to hide. Army and other security forces in Pulwama and Shopian districts of south Kashmir have found some similar underground bunkers during search operations. In these bunkers, the terrorists had made arrangements to hide.

Colonel AK Singh, commanding officer of the 44 Rashtriya Rifles of the Army, says that it is a great success for the security forces that the terrorists are now rushing to save their lives, forget about crossing the LOC. Some underground bunkers built by them to hide have been found on the banks of dense gardens and river-drains in Pulwama and Shopian district.

There were some bunkers that were completely closed by pouring mud from above. Only one pipe was taken out to breathe. Such underground bunkers have been demolished. Underground workers have also run. His battalion has surrendered eight terrorists, killing 47 terrorists.

Colonel Singh said that the underground bunker recovered in Rambi Ara in southern Kashmir was built in a drain where it is common to rain in the floods. Iron was also used to make this bunker. The oil drum was cut and made its way inside.

Seeing the upper part of the drum, the jawans were suspicious. After that, it started to be monitored. During this time, terrorists were seen coming out of this concrete bunker from the middle of the drain. Earlier this year, five Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed in an encounter here.

In Bandopoh in south Kashmir, in June this year, terrorists built a 12 feet high and ten feet wide underground bunker in a garden. It was suspected after seeing the polythene sheet from inside the ground. There were 50 women in the garden, operation was started by removing them with great difficulty.

Five terrorists were killed here. At the same time, an underground bunker was found adjacent to the wall of the house in the Amarbug area of Shopian. Ten feet wide and eight feet high bunker also had an inverter for mobile charging.
