West Bengal: Al Qaeda terrorists set up bases in four districts of Bengal. Al-Qaeda terrorists had set up in four districts of West Bengal, used to brainwash youth, used to show training in making explosives, a videotape of Osama bin Laden and Al Zawahiri.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made several sensational revelations in the interrogation of nine al Qaeda terrorists. The members of the terrorist organization had built their bases in four districts of Bengal – Maldah, Murshidabad, Uttar Dinajpur, and Birbhum.

The poor people in these districts brainwashed by the terror outfit. They were trained to make explosives. On the pretext of opposition from the CAA and NRC, the youth were linked to the organization, then motivated them for jihad.

They were shown videotapes of the dreaded terrorists Osama bin Laden and Al Zawahiri. After interrogation late on Saturday night, NIA officials questioned them throughout the day on Sunday. They are likely to be taken to Delhi on Monday.

According to NIA sources, Pakistan-sponsored al-Qaeda militants radicalized these people through social media. Everyone worked under the supervision of the top terrorists sitting in Pakistan.

Sometimes terrorists from Bangladesh used to cross the border illegally to the bases here and provoke new members of the organization with provocative speeches.

Was ready to make IED

According to NIA sources, these al-Qaeda terrorists were preparing to make IEDs. Bulletproof jacket making goods have also been found from them. Explosives (IEDs) and bullet-proof jackets were to be delivered to colleagues in Kashmir.

Investigation till now has revealed that many metro cities of the country including Delhi were targeted by them. Officials are trying to know in detail about their targets and plans. A 22-member terrorist network has been revealed through mobile phone conversations.

STF will also inquire

The Special Task Force (STF) of the Bengal Police will also interrogate the Al Qaeda terrorists. They will be taken to Delhi for questioning. If the NIA takes them to Delhi, then the STF team will go there and inquire.
