There is a case of tax evasion against these Unrecognized Political Parties (RUPP). Due to this, the team of the Income Tax Department is conducting raids.

Sources said that the search operation is also being conducted in some other states of the country including Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Haryana.

The team of the IT department is also raiding the premises of businessmen of Chhattisgarh.

Meanwhile, the news agency quoted sources as saying that a coordinated action has been initiated by the Income Tax Department against unrecognized political parties and their affiliated entities, operators, and others.

Election Commission had removed 87 institutions of many political parties from RUPP

This action is believed to have been taken by the Income Tax Department on the recommendation of the Election Commission (EC).

During the recent verification by the Election Commission, 87 entities belonging to several political parties were removed from the list of RUPP.

These include steel and liquor trader. According to the information received, raids have been conducted at his Luxury Kingdom house and other places simultaneously.

In this, a team of more than 50 officers of Raipur is involved.
