Manipur Security Forces Arrest Chief of Banned Kuki Outfit: Security forces in Manipur arrested the self-proclaimed chief of the banned Chin Kuki Mizo Army along with militants. Weapons, cash, and ammunition were seized in a major anti-militant operation.
In a breakthrough, Manipur security forces arrested Paokholen Guite, the self-proclaimed commander of the banned Chin Kuki Mizo Army, in Churachandpur. Two AK-47 rifles, ammunition, cash, and a vehicle were seized. Alongside him, three more militants, including two from the People’s Liberation Army, were caught for extortion and cross-border trafficking activities.
