Many development projects started in Kerala, PM Modi said – Solar production capacity increased 13 times in six years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several major projects in power and urban areas in the state of Kerala through a video conference.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said that the 50 MW Kasargod Solar Project was inaugurated on Friday.

India’s solar production capacity has increased 13-fold in the last six years. PM Modi also inaugurated 320 KV Pugalur (Tamil Nadu) – Thrissur (Kerala) power transmission project.

It is a state of the art high voltage direct current project. On this occasion, PM Modi said that Thrissur is an important cultural center of Kerala and now it will also be a center of electric energy.

Many development projects started: The project will facilitate the transfer of large amounts of electricity to meet the growing power demands of the state.

The project is built at a cost of Rs 5,070 crore. This will facilitate the sending of 2000 MW of power from the western region and can meet the power demand in Kerala.

PM Modi said that now there will be access to electricity with reliability. It is extremely important to strengthen the intra-state transmission network to supply electricity to households and industrial units.

PM Modi also dedicated the 50 MW Kasaragod Solar Power Project to the nation. The project has been developed under the National Solar Energy Mission.

The central government has invested around 280 million rupees in the 250 acres project in Kasargod district.

The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for Integrated Command and Control Center in Thiruvananthapuram.

The construction of the Integrated Command and Control Center at Thiruvananthapuram will cost Rs 94 crore. Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation stone for the smart roads project in Thiruvananthapuram.

It is estimated to cost Rs 427 crore. Under this project, 37 km of existing roads in Thiruvananthapuram will be converted into world-class smart roads.

PM Modi will be on a tour on 25 February in Puducherry amid a political crisis, will address the public meeting.

Political enthusiasts in Puducherry have suddenly intensified. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Puducherry on 25 February, during which he will also address a public meeting in Puducherry.

The Puducherry unit of the BJP gave its information on Friday. He informed that PM Modi will be on a day tour of the state on 25 February.

BJP’s Puducherry MLA V Saminathan said that during his visit, PM Modi will address a public meeting at AFT Mill. He further said that the Prime Minister’s program ahead of it has not been decided yet.
