Many explosions were heard in Kharkiv, people were advised to go to safe places.

Russian military action in Ukraine has worsened the situation. The Kyiv Independent has been quoted as saying that several explosions were heard in Kharkiv.

Residents have been asked to move to nearby shelters. Russia, which started in the rebel areas of eastern Ukraine, has now taken control of Europe’s largest nuclear power plant.

Moscow, on the other hand, has blocked Facebook and some foreign media websites. Russia’s argument behind this is that the said website is running fake news amid sanctions imposed by Western countries.

Foreign media organizations stopped working in Russia.

According to information received from Reuters, there was no damage to the reactors of Zaporizhzhia, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant.

Many international media organizations, including CNN and BBC, have stopped working in Russia following the new media law passed by the Russian parliament.

The US has given its support for the decision to declare Ukraine a no-flying zone. There is neither mine nor water in Mariupol.

The mayor here has appealed for military assistance. Due to the war in both countries, the situation is very bad and people are reaching the US-Mexico border to keep themselves safe.

G-7 condemns attack on civilians in Ukraine

The Group of Seven (G-7) with the world’s largest economy has strongly criticized Russia for its attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine.

Along with this, it has been urged to fix the accountability of war crimes. The G-7 includes the United States, Britain, France, Italy, Canada, Germany, and Japan.

In a joint statement issued by the US State Department on Friday, G-7 foreign ministers condemned Russia’s intensifying attack on Ukraine.

He said indiscriminate attacks are prohibited under international humanitarian law.

We will hold those responsible for indiscriminate attacks on civilians and the use of weapons for war crimes. The statement also urged Russia to stop attacks on areas around Ukraine’s nuclear plants.

Russia will face dire consequences.

World Bank President David Malpass said that Russia’s attack on Ukraine has shocked everyone. Russia will face dire consequences in the long run.

He said China’s response to the war and Western sanctions imposed on Moscow will be influential in determining how Russia’s future trade relations develop.
