Market Cap Of Five Of The Top 10 Companies Decreased

Market cap of five of the top 10 companies decreased by 1.42 lakh crore. The market cap of five of the top 10 Sensex companies fell by Rs 1,42,880.11 crore last week.

Hindustan Unilever was the biggest loser and its market cap declined by Rs 45,523.33 crore to Rs 5,76,836.40 crore.

The market cap of Reliance Industries declined by Rs 45,126.6 crore to Rs 16,66,427.95 crore and that of TCS declined by Rs 41,151.94 crore to Rs 12,94,686.48 crore.

However, the market cap of ICICI Bank increased by Rs 22,248.14 crore to Rs 5,26,497.27 crore.

HDFC’s market cap rose by Rs 17,015.22 crore to Rs 5,24,877.06 crore and State Bank’s market cap rose by Rs 11,111.14 crore to Rs 4,48,863.34 crore.

The cost of 438 infrastructure projects increased by 4.3 lakh crore.

The total cost of 438 infrastructure projects worth over Rs 150 crore has gone up by Rs 4.03 lakh crore. The Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation oversees such projects.

Out of 1670 projects, 438 projects were not only cost overrun but also would not be completed on time.

According to the report released by the ministry in September 2021, “Initially the total cost of these 1670 projects was Rs 21,66,048.11 crore and when these projects are completed, their cost will be Rs 25,96,907.70 crore.”

In this way, their cost will increase by Rs 4,30,859.59 crore (19.89 percent of the original cost).

According to the report, Rs 12,54,512.40 crore has been spent on these projects till September 2021. This is 48.31 percent of the estimated cost of the projects.

In the last one year, two years, and five years, the multi-asset category of mutual funds has given excellent returns to investors.

ICICI Prudential Multi-Asset Fund has the highest return in this.

It has given returns of 64.8% in one year, 25.68 in two years, and 14.95% in five years. Indian stock market is currently trading around 61 thousand.

However, there has been a lot of volatility in it for the last four days. For the past few months, market experts say that investors should be careful about asset allocation.

In such a situation, multi-asset funds come with a good option for the investors.
