Mercedes Benz has launched its two battery-electric vehicles in India. The company has brought EQA 250+ and EQB 350 as BEVs with the option of five seats.

These BEVs have been brought by the company especially to attract the youth as well as families who want to promote e-mobility along with being environmentally conscious.

Mercedes Benz Launches EQA: What are the features?

Mercedes has provided features like LED lights, 19-inch alloy wheels, 360-degree camera, HUD, dual tone climate control, panoramic sunroof, 10.25 inch infotainment system, 10.25 inch instrument cluster, and seven airbags in its EQA 250+.

Along with this, the launched EQB 350 has features like seven and five-seat options, ambient light, front-row powered seat, memory function, active lane keep assist, active distance assist, Level-2 ADAS, head-up display, and 12 12-speaker Burmester music system.

How is the battery and motor?

The company has provided a front wheel drive system in EQA 250+. It has a battery of 70.5 kWh capacity. Which gives it a WLTP range of 497 to 560 km.

The motor installed in it gives 140 kW of power and 385 Newton meter torque. The SUV can be driven at a speed of 0-100 kmph in 8.6 seconds.

Its battery takes more than seven hours to charge from 0-100 percent with an AC charger. But it can be charged between 10 to 80 percent in 35 minutes with a DC fast charger.

Mercedes’ EQB 350 has two options. Its 250+ has a battery of 70.5 kWh, which gives it a range of 464 to 535 km. Its top speed is 160 kmph.

On the other hand, EQB 350 4M has a smaller battery of 66.5 kWh capacity, which gives a range of 397 to 447 km.

What is the price?

The company has kept the ex-showroom price of EQA 250+ at Rs 66 lakh. While the ex-showroom price of its EQB 350 4M 5-seater variant has been kept at Rs 77.5 lakh.

The company has launched the 250+ variant of EQB at an ex-showroom price of Rs 70.90 lakh.
