Metro Will Run Directly From New Delhi Railway Station To Noida Airport

Metro will run directly from New Delhi Railway Station to Noida Airport, Express service may be available in 2024.

Passenger services from Noida International Airport will start in October 2024. Before this, preparations are on to run Noida International Airport Metro from New Delhi Railway Station.

This corridor will be ready for metro connectivity from IGI Airport New Delhi to Noida International Airport. Express Metro will operate on this.

The trial will start at the airport next year.

There will be a meeting of the government on Wednesday to get the project off the ground. In this, officials of DMRC, NMRC, Niall, and the developer company of the airport will be involved.

The construction work of the first phase of Noida International Airport is underway at Jewar. The trial will start at the airport early next year. Commercial service will start in October.

Express Metro will operate from Delhi to Airport.

Noida airport is estimated to travel 12 million people annually. The airport will meet these passengers from Delhi NCR.

That’s why there is special emphasis on the connectivity of Delhi-NCR to Noida Airport. Express Metro will operate from Delhi to the airport.

Metro will operate on a route of about 70 km from New Delhi Railway Station to Noida Airport.

Its detailed project report (DPR) is being prepared in two parts. In the first part, from Noida Airport to Greater Noida Knowledge Park 2, and in the second part from Knowledge Park 2 to New Delhi Railway Station.

Noida Airport will be connected to IGI Airport New Delhi through this metro corridor.

DPR is ready for a 35 km long route.

DPR of about 35 km long route between Noida Airport to Knowledge Park 2 has been prepared. This route will be parallel to the Yamuna Expressway.

DPR is being prepared for the corridor between Knowledge Park 2 and New Delhi Railway Station.

After the meeting to be held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary DS Mishra on June 14, the work on the metro project can be expedited.

Some of the 12 stations proposed between New Delhi Railway Station and Noida Airport may be eliminated.

So that the express service of the metro will be available. Yamuna Authority CEO Dr. Arunveer Singh says that metro connectivity is important for Noida Airport.

Through this, passengers will be able to travel easily between IGI Airport and Noida Airport.
