The police were looking for this Naxalite from Maharashtra, active in Naxalite Dalam for 23 years. Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra placed a reward of 14 lakhs on it and he was involved in about 84 incidents.

Naxalite Shyamlal was included in the list of active Naxalites members.

SP Abhishek Tiwari said that Naxalite Shyamlal is a resident of village Katzehri in Gadchiroli (Maharashtra). He was included in the list of active Naxalites members and worked to show the way to the new recruits in the Naxalite parties along with improving the weapons.
