Naxalite Shyamlal arrested in Madhya Pradesh. Rs 14 lakh reward was on this Naxalite who has been arrested in Madhya Pradesh, the police were searching for hardcore Naxalite for 23 years.
After the encounter between police and Naxalites on Monday in the forest of Malkua in Lanji police station area of Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh, the Maoist Shyamlal alias Motiram Sanku Jangadhurve (55) has been arrested.
The police were looking for this Naxalite from Maharashtra, active in Naxalite Dalam for 23 years. Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra placed a reward of 14 lakhs on it and he was involved in about 84 incidents.
Naxalite Shyamlal was included in the list of active Naxalites members.
SP Abhishek Tiwari said that Naxalite Shyamlal is a resident of village Katzehri in Gadchiroli (Maharashtra). He was included in the list of active Naxalites members and worked to show the way to the new recruits in the Naxalite parties along with improving the weapons.

During the search, around 25-30 police personnel were confronted by Naxalites on Monday morning. Around 25-30 Naxalites started firing indiscriminately.
