Minister in Maharashtra government and NCP leader Nawab Malik are being questioned at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Mumbai.

ED officials had reached Nawab Malik’s residence this morning. After questioning at the residence, the ED team took him to his office.

Nawab Malik is being questioned for the last few hours. The ED had summoned Nawab Malik over his alleged links with the underworld.

Shiv Sena-NCP was enraged by ED’s action.

At the same time, NCP and Shiv Sena have attacked the central government over the action of ED. NCP leader Supriya Sule said that ED people had come to Nawab Malik’s place this morning.

For a long time, BJP workers, spokespersons were tweeting that ED’s notice will come against Nawab Malik and Mahavikas Aghadi. Today it is done.

He further said that the conspiracy that BJP was doing against Maha Vikas Aghadi is being watched by the whole of Maharashtra today.

Fadnavis had claimed that Nawab Malik had bought land from Dawood’s close friends. He claimed that these properties belonged to the accused involved in the Mumbai blasts.

On a complaint by the Maharashtra Excise Department, Thane Police on Monday summoned former Mumbai Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) regional director Sameer Wankhede in an alleged forgery case.

“He will have to come to the police station on February 23 (Wednesday) to record his statement along with relevant documents,” Thane police said.

Meanwhile, Wankhede has moved the Bombay High Court seeking quashing of the FIR by Thane Police against the alleged fraudulent bar license. The court has fixed the matter for hearing on February 22.
