NIA Arrested 28 Accused In Connection With Terrorist Activity
NIA arrested 28 accused in connection with terrorist activity. There was a conspiracy to carry out terrorist incidents in New Delhi including Jammu and Kashmir, so far 28 accused arrested.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) team has arrested 28 accused so far, thwarting the conspiracy to carry out terrorist incidents in the country’s capital New Delhi, including the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
NIA team has also raided seven places in the state and Jodhpur district of Rajasthan in connection with the terror funding case.
According to the information, at present raids are going on at eight places simultaneously by the NIA.
It includes districts of Saupore, Kupwara, Shopian, Rajouri, Budgam, Ganderbal, and the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan.
This raid of the NIA has been done in view of the resurgence of terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the country, including the terror funding case.
Terrorists belonging to People’s Action Fascist Forces including terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul Mujahideen, Al Badr, The Resistance Force, have the potential to carry out terrorist acts in major cities of the country including Jammu and Kashmir and New Delhi.
The plan was to take timely action, the NIA team has succeeded in arresting 28 accused in this case so far, thwarting these nefarious designs.
The NIA team has raided the premises of other accused connected with the network of the accused after a rigorous interrogation of the arrested accused.
During this, other incriminating items including digital equipment, SIM cards, digital storage devices in the hands of NA have also been recovered.
At present, raids have been conducted and an investigation of this matter is also going on.
Let us inform you here that on February 16, the NIA team had raided about a dozen places including Karalpora, Kupwara along the LoC in South Kashmir to North Kashmir.
This raid took place on June 27 last year in connection with the recovery of an IED in Bathindi on the outskirts of Jammu.
Kashmiri terrorists Sajjad Gul, Lashkar commander Abu Saad and Sajid Jatt present in Pakistan were recruiting new Lashkar terrorists in Kashmir.
