NIA files charge sheet against 6 accused in drone case, terrorists conspired to terrorize the valley.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against six accused in a case related to the recovery of a drone (Hexacopter) and rounds of an Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL).

In May last year, drones laden with magnetic bombs were recovered from the Dhalli area of the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.

NIA has filed a charge sheet against 6 accused. He used to supply weapons to the terrorists operating in the valley.

Based on the NIA investigation, the chargesheet revealed that a Pakistani handler, Sajjad Gul, was giving instructions to the other accused.

All of them used to collect, receive and send drone-dropped weapons to terrorists operating in the Kashmir Valley to carry out terror activities in Jammu.

The terrorists used drones to deliver weapons to terrorists operating in the Kashmir Valley as part of a conspiracy to wage war against the Government of India and to carry out terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir.

The case was registered at Rajbagh on May 29 last year and was handed over to the NIA on July 30. Although earlier a charge sheet was filed in this case in a special court in Jammu.

Case registered against terrorists under various sections.

The central agency has filed a chargesheet against the accused – Faisal Munir, Habib, Mian Sohail, Muni Mohammad (deceased), Rashid, and Sajjad Gul – under sections 120B, 121A and 122, sections 16, 17, 18, 18B, 20 of the Indian Penal Code.

The Case registered under sections 23, 38, 39, and 40 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and sections 25(1)(a) and 25(1AA) of the Arms Act, and sections 4 and 5 of the Explosive Substances Act.

However, the NIA also said that further investigation is still going on in this matter.
