Odisha Health Minister Naba Das Shot dead by ASI, he in critical condition, video surfaces.

Odisha State Health Minister Naba Das was shot and wounded by an Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (ASI) near Brajrajnagar in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district.

This incident occurred when Nab Das was trying to attend a Gandhi Chowk program in Brajrajnagar.

The incident occurred here near Gandhi Chowk when Naba Das got out of his car to attend a program and his supporters laid wreaths on him.

Only then, they say, did the ASI police open fire. His name is Gopal Chandra Das and he was shot by Brijrajnagar SPDO.

The Health Minister of Odisha was shot in the chest by ASI Gopichandra Das.

However, the minister was rescued and taken to Dzharsugud Hospital. The Minister of Odisha tried to open a Biju Janata Dal (BJD) office in Brajrajnagar.

On the way, he tried to get out of the car at the Gandhi Chowk area and walk to the newly built party office. So ASI opened fire on him. Minister Naba Das has now been transported to Jarsuguda Airport.

A high-level investigation has been ordered to find out how a serious and fatal security breach of the safety of Orissa Health Minister Naba Das happened.

Naveen Patnaik condemned the attack.

Responding to the attack on Health Minister Naba Das, Odisha State Minister Naveen Patnaik said: “I was shocked by the unfortunate incident of the attack,” he said.

He strongly condemns this and wishes for a speedy recovery. The Criminal Investigation Division is in charge of the investigation.

Senior officials of the Criminal Investigation Department were dispatched to the scene. You have been asked to come to the IG crime scene of the Odisha police.

ASI was said to have been on duty at Gandhi Chowk’s police station in Brajrajnagar. He suddenly opened fire on Minister Nab Das with his service revolver.

The reason behind this unfortunate incident is not known till now.

I saw a police officer running away who shot the minister at close range. He said the minister would be flown to Bhubaneswar.
