A terrorist has been killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Drangbal under Pampore in Jammu and Kashmir.
There is a possibility of two terrorists including the top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Umar Mushtaq, in the circle of security forces. The firing process is still going on.
Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar said, ‘The top ten terrorists are on the target of Jammu and Kashmir Police, including LeT commander Umar Mushtaq Khandey is trapped in their circle.

One terrorist killed in Pampore Encounter: This is the same terrorist who killed two police personnel in Srinagar 8 months ago.
The top ten terrorists on the target of the police are Salim Parray, Yusuf Kantru, Abbas Sheikh, Riyaz Shetregund, Farooq Nali, Zubair Wani, Ashraf Molvi, Shakib Manzoor, Umar Mushtaq Khande, and Vakil Shah.
IGP Vijay Kumar said that in the 8 encounters in Jammu and Kashmir so far, the security forces have succeeded in neutralizing a total of 11 terrorists.
It is noteworthy that Jammu and Kashmir Police, Indian Army and CRPF personnel are present at the encounter site.
One was killed, five were injured in road accidents.
In sub-division Hiranagar, one person died while five people were injured in road accidents at different places.
The people present on the spot immediately rushed all the injured to the sub-district hospital Hiranagar. The deceased person was posted as SPO in the Lachhipur outpost.
Police have registered a case and started action to find out the cause of the accidents. The deceased person was a resident of Varjinder’s son Avtar Singh Mukand Pur Luwana.
