OnePlus Released The Teaser Of The Foldable Smartphone
OnePlus released the teaser of the foldable smartphone- Samsung will get tough competition.
Samsung is going to launch a new Galaxy Z Fold 3 foldable phone at the Unpacked event today.
With this, now the smartphone company OnePlus is preparing to give a tough competition to Samsung’s foldable smartphone series through its upcoming launch.
The Chinese company has posted a teaser from its social media handle, which states that it may unveil a dual-screen phone soon.
While OnePlus hasn’t confirmed the details of the upcoming device, the teaser suggests that there is a gap in the middle, so it could either be dual-screen or something completely new.
As of now, there are no rumors about any new OnePlus smartphone, which means it could be a concept device as well.
When you first look at the teaser, it turns out that this is a phone that has a hinge instead of a flexible display.
On closer testing, we can also see two displays, a volume rocker, a power key, and a physical alert slider.
There is also a possibility that OnePlus is planning to offer dual-screen accessories to the users, similar to what LG has done.
LG has already launched a few phones with dual-screen case accessories, the LG Velvet and the LG G8X ThinQ.
DisplayTech’s bleeding-edge foldable phone costs a lot, so the company may be planning to introduce a dual-screen case, which will be cheaper.
From that teaser itself, it is difficult to say what OnePlus has in mind. But, this at least confirms that OnePlus will be announcing this mystery device today at 10 am (7:30 pm in India).
It is at the same time that Samsung’s Unpacked event will start. It will be interesting to see what OnePlus has planned for everyone.
