Pakistan Backed ‘Jihadi Terrorists’ May Enter Kashmir

Pakistan backed ‘Jihadi terrorists’ may enter Kashmir from Afghanistan, EFSAS expressed concern in UN.

After the Taliban occupation of Afghanistan, the cause of greatest concern among all countries is that terrorist groups should not use the earth for their wrong plans.

At the same time, news of Pakistan-backed jihadi terrorists entering Kashmir from Afghanistan has come to the fore, which is adding to everyone’s concerns.

The European Foundation for South Asian Studies (EFSAS) has expressed concern about this.

The foundation expressed apprehension that Pakistan-backed and trained ‘jihadi’ terrorists would be deported to Kashmir after the Taliban occupation in Afghanistan.

At the ongoing 48th regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva.

The organization’s director and a Kashmiri, Junaid Qureshi, drew the council’s attention to the dire situation in Afghanistan and its effects on Jammu.

Junaid Qureshi said, “When the Soviet Union left Kabul in 1989, many Islamic fighters had to go to other countries and many were sent to Kashmir.

After 32 years, the Taliban have captured Afghanistan. So in such a situation, a large number of people have become unemployed.

Kashmiris are with Afghans but against the Taliban and terrorism.

“In the 1990s, when these jihadi terrorists, trained by Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI, were repatriated to Kashmir, they are now back to haunt us,” Junaid said.

Along with this, he said that in view of such a situation, there is fear among the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Afghanistan itself is running a campaign to destabilize Pakistan. Junaid said that Kashmiris stand with Afghans, but are against Taliban and terrorism.

The Taliban, which is in power in Afghanistan, has now banned beard-cutting or shaving.

In a letter issued to salon operators and others, beard-cutting or shaving has been described as a violation of Islamic law and those who do so have also been warned of strict punishment.

The Frontier Post has published a report citing the Taliban letter.
