According to Dawn newspaper, a meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Economic Affairs Minister Umar Ayub Khan.

It considered several options for providing aid to the new Afghan government. But not getting the recognition of the Taliban government in this path has become a big challenge.

On the other hand, Pakistan is restless with this bill introduced in the US Senate. Actually, this bill has been introduced in the Senate by 22 senators of the Republican Party.

This bill is about America’s counter-terrorism campaign in Afghanistan and its accountability.

The heat of this bill is coming directly on Pakistan because, after the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, Pakistan’s activity in the Taliban regime has increased.

Pakistan is stunned by this bill. He has lodged a strong objection regarding this. He said that Pakistan is being made a scapegoat.

In this bill, the Biden administration has been asked to respond to the decision to expedite the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.

Second, there has been a demand for an inquiry into Pakistan’s role in Afghanistan. Pakistan is restless with the second demand for the bill.
