On the eve of the 73rd Republic Day, President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the nation and extended Republic Day greetings to all the countrymen.
He said that Republic Day is a celebration of the pride of India that binds all the countrymen in one thread. He said that this proud identity of India was formalized on 26 January 1950.
He said that every year on Republic Day, we celebrate our dynamic democracy and the spirit of national unity.

Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated the countrymen on the 73rd Republic Day.
In a tweet, he saluted all the soldiers who gave their everything to keep the pride, unity, and integrity of the Republic of India intact.
