PM Modi will hold an important meeting with Chief Ministers today, the situation of Corona will be reviewed.

Corona cases are increasing rapidly in the country. The central government is also constantly monitoring the increasing cases of the corona.

At the same time, PM Narendra Modi also keeps taking stock of the situation of Corona. Meanwhile, PM Modi has called a meeting of Chief Ministers on Tuesday afternoon.

In this meeting, the latest situation of corona infection will be discussed. This meeting will be held at 4 pm through video conferencing.

PM Modi will hold an important meeting with Chief Ministers: The meeting was also held on Sunday.

Earlier, PM Modi also held a high-level meeting regarding Corona on Sunday. In the meeting, the Prime Minister was directed to prepare the health infrastructure at the district level.

In this meeting, Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya along with secretaries and senior officials of Home, Health, Pharma, and other ministries were present in the meeting.

In the meeting, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan informed about the increasing cases of corona due to the Omicron variant in the country and abroad.

He also shared experiences from around the world regarding the infectiousness and severity of this variant.

1 lakh 68 thousand new cases of the corona.

Significantly, in the last 24 hours, there has been a decrease in new cases of the corona. The Health Ministry said that 1,68,063 new cases of corona have been reported on Monday.

While on January 9, 1 lakh 79 thousand 723 new cases were reported. The active corona patients in the country have increased to 8,21,446.

4,461 total cases of Omicron.

At the same time, the cases of new variant Omicron of coronavirus have crossed 4400.

The Health Ministry said that the total number of patients of Omicron has now increased to 4,461. So far, Omicron has spread its feet in 28 states of the country.

Guidelines for travelers coming from abroad.

The Government of India has issued new guidelines for travelers coming from abroad.

According to this, 7 days home quarantine will be necessary for all the travelers coming from abroad. RT-PCR test of passengers will be done on the eighth day.
