Police administration is on alert regarding Friday prayers, drones are also monitoring.

After the violence that broke out after the Friday prayers on June 3 and 10, the police administration is again on alert mode today.

The police have made elaborate preparations to avoid any untoward incident. In sensitive districts, the police held a flag march and meeting with religious leaders and appealed to maintain peace and order.

Apart from this, a large number of police forces have also been deployed. Along with this, drones are also being monitored in sensitive areas.

Tight security arrangements have been made in Kanpur for Friday prayers. 286 sub-inspectors including five SPs, five additional SPs, 11 deputy SPs, and 64 inspectors have been deployed.

Rapid Action Force including 2400 policemen will be ready along with five company PACs. 8 drone cameras will be monitored from the sky.

At the same time, 50 videographers will be recording moment by moment. Police friends including 2000 civil defense will also be deployed.

Police in Varanasi appeals to religious leaders to maintain peace.

Apart from this, in Varanasi also, a meeting of the Peace Committee was held by DCP Kashi-Zone RS Gautam with religious leaders and elite persons regarding Friday prayers and upcoming festivals.

In the meeting of the Peace Committee organized by the Police, an appeal was made by the DCP to the religious leaders, officials of Civil Defense, and the elite persons of the area to maintain peace.

Along with this, Deputy Commissioner of Police Gautam told the people present in the meeting that they should avoid rumors.

If any person, irrespective of the religious sect, spreads rumors, then contact the concerned Inspector-in-Charge and SHO and higher officers of the police, and refute misleading messages.

Vigilance in Lucknow, Noida, and Unnao also.

Apart from Kanpur and Varanasi, the police administration in Lucknow, Noida, and Unnao is also alert about the Friday prayers to be held today.

On Thursday, police conducted flag marches in Noida and Unnao and appealed to the people to offer prayers peacefully and then go to their homes.

The police also gave a message that strict action was taken against spreading any kind of rumor or anarchy.
