Possibility of early peaceful resolution of border deadlock between India-China: Director-General of ITBP.

Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Director-General SS Deshwal said on Thursday that a Possibility of early peaceful resolution of the India-China deadlock in eastern Ladakh is expected soon.

On the development of infrastructure along the border, Deshwal said that the work of establishing new border posts and connecting them with all-weather roads is in progress.

He said that about 75 percent of the ITBP border posts are still connected by roads.

The army chief will conduct an air inspection of the border with China today

Army Chief Manoj Mukund Narwane reached Pithoragarh on Thursday for the first time after tension on the China border.
