Property Of Kashmiri Migrants Will Be Protected

Property of Kashmiri migrants will be protected, encroachments will be removed: Jammu and Kashmir.

The Administrative Council has directed to protect the immovable property of the displaced persons in Kashmir and remove encroachments.

In the meeting of the Administrative Council chaired by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, the proposal of the Revenue Department was also approved.

In which the Deputy Commissioners of Kashmir Division were given the powers of Commissioners under the Agricultural Land Reforms Act. This will help in protecting the property of Kashmiri migrants.

Along with this, instructions have been given to the Department of Disaster Management, Revenue, and Relief to develop an online portal.

In which the facility of applying for a correction of records, demarcation, removal of encroachment of Kashmiri migrants.

Those applying under the Public Service Guarantee Act should also be disposed of within the stipulated time.

The administrative council approved to create of 110 posts in the revenue department

Meanwhile, to bring transparency in the accounting activities in the field offices of the Revenue Department, the Administrative Council has approved the creation of 110 posts of accounts personnel.

The posts will be created in Financial Commissioner, IG Registration, Divisional Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Custodian General, Revenue Training Institute, Nazul Sangathan.

Will be able to maintain departmental accounts. The new posts include two chief account officers, 26 account officers, seven assistant account officers, 22 accountants, 53 account assistants.
