Rajnath Singh meets Britain’s Defense Procurement Minister and discusses increasing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh held talks with Britain’s Defense Procurement Minister Jeremy Quinn on Tuesday. The talks focused on bilateral cooperation in areas such as aviation and shipbuilding.

Rajnath Singh meets Jeremy Quinn: Rajnath tweeted that had a wonderful meeting with UK Defense Procurement Minister Jeremy Quinn.

We discussed the opportunities available to both countries in areas related to aviation, shipbuilding, and other defense industrial programs.

During his visit to India last week, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that the UK is creating an Open General Export License (OGEL) for India.

This will reduce the role of bureaucracy in defense procurement and supply times.

He had said that London would cooperate with New Delhi in the development of other defense equipment including indigenous fighter jets.

Investors should be a part of India’s growth story, Nirmala Sitharaman calls upon American entrepreneurs.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has invited global investors to be a part of India’s growth story.

Addressing the Business Roundtable meeting organized by the US-India Business Council and CII in the US.

Sitharaman said that despite all the disruptions, India will be the fastest-growing country in the world in the year 2023 and this pace of development will continue even further.

The world’s big investors and entrepreneurs present there gave her the assurance of investment.

In the conversation with the Finance Minister regarding investment, entrepreneurs mainly related to clean energy, semiconductor, green steel, waste to energy, and carbon capture sectors showed interest in investment.

The Finance Minister has gone to America to attend the World Bank and IMF meeting.

Speaking on the occasion Himanshu Saxena, CEO, of Starwood Energy said that we are ready to participate in the next phase of India’s development.

Bloom Energy CEO KR Sridhar said that America is ready to work for energy security in India with its advanced technology.

Semiconductor sector entrepreneurs also showed interest in investment and technology partnerships in India.
