The Redmi Buds 3 have been launched as Xiaomi’s latest true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds under the Redmi brand.

The earbuds come with a semi-in-ear design like AirPods and are claimed to offer up to 20 hours of battery life.

Redmi Buds 3 is powered by a Qualcomm processor that is equipped with Clear Voice Capture (CVC) noise cancellation technology to reduce echo during voice calls.

Like other TWS earbuds, Redmi Buds 3 also comes with touch controls.

Redmi Buds 3 Price.

Redmi Buds 3 have been set at CNY 199 (approximately Rs 2,300), however, the earbuds will initially go on sale as part of a crowdfunding campaign at a starting price tag of CNY 159 (approximately Rs 1,800).

Crowdfunding will begin in China on Wednesday, September 8. However, details regarding the global availability and price of the Redmi Buds 3 are yet to be announced.

Specifications of Redmi Buds 3.

The new Redmi Buds 3 come with 12mm oversized drivers that are supported by the Qualcomm QC3040 SoC.

The earbuds also include support for Qualcomm’s aptX adaptive audio decoding technology which is said to bring a high-definition sound experience via Bluetooth.

Xiaomi also claims that the Redmi Buds 3 offers a latency rate of at least 95 milliseconds when paired with its flagship devices, including the Redmi K40 Pro.

The Redmi Buds 3 have touch controls that allow users to play music, change tracks, and answer calls by tapping on the back of the earbuds.

There is also one-step quick pairing using a pop-up window, especially on phones running MIUI 12 and later.

Each earbud on the Redmi Buds 3 is rated to deliver up to five hours of playback time on a single charge, while the bundled charging case is capable of extending the battery life up to 20 hours.

The earbuds are also claimed to have Quick Charge support which gives 1.5 hours of playback time in 10 minutes of charging. The earbuds each weigh 4.5 grams, which makes them a lightweight option.

Apart from this, you will get an ergonomic design that is claimed to provide a comfortable wearing experience.
