Retired Army Doctors Started Online Consultations

Retired army doctors started online consultations for the whole country: Covid Epidemic.

In the wake of Corona’s growing transition, retired doctors of the army started a free online medical consultation service for citizens across the country from Friday.

This service was started for Uttar Pradesh on May 7 and a few days later in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. It was expanded.

The Defense Ministry said that currently 85 senior doctors are offering their services on the online portal and they have given online consultation to more than a thousand patients.

According to the statement, X-Defense OPD has been renamed as Defense National OPD after the success in three states.

It has been expanded to the whole country since 14 May. In this, the long experience of army doctors is being used to the maximum.

Retired doctors of the Army, Air Force, and Navy have been recalled and posted at different locations amid the growing transition to Corona.

Retired doctors of Army Medical Corps Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission are being re-contracted.

President Ram Nath Kovind had approved the proposal of the Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS) to recruit these doctors.

More than 2 crore people beat Corona in cases of the major metropolis of Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow

In the major metropolises of the country including Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, the rapid decline in the cases of corona infection is showing some improvement.

This is the third time in the last four days that the number of patients recovering has been more than the new cases. With this, the number of people who have defeated the Corona epidemic has also crossed two crores.

After the increase of two days, the number of active cases has also fallen by more than 30 thousand and their number has come down to 37 lakhs.

According to data received by the states and union territories till late Friday night, 3,26,014 new cases have been received across the country in the last 24 hours, 3,52,850 patients have been cured and 3,876 more have died.

With this, the number of total infected has crossed two crores 43 lakh 72 thousand. Out of these, over 20 million 26 thousand patients have been cured and 3,66,229 patients have lost their lives so far.

There have been 36,69,537 active cases. A day earlier, their number was slightly more than 37 lakhs.
