SASB reconstituted before the start of Amarnath Yatra, know who are the new 8 members in the board.

Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB) was reconstituted before Shri Amarnath Yatra. Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has inducted eight members on the board.

Earlier the board had 10 members. Out of this, six members have been excluded. Three members of the previous board have been replaced.

Five new members have been inducted into the board. The Lieutenant Governor is also the Chairman of the Shrine Board.

After the reorganization of the Shrine Board, it included Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj, DC Raina, Kailash Mehra Sadhu, KN Rai, KN Srivastava, Pitambar Lal Gupta, Shailesh Raina, and Prof. Vishnu Murti Shastri has been included.

SASB reconstituted before the start of Amarnath Yatra: The board is responsible for the management and facilities of Amarnath Yatra.

The board itself takes every decision of starting and registering the journey. Awadheshanand Giri, DC Raina, and Prof. Vishnu idol have got their place again.

World-renowned spiritual guru Awadheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj is a national figure involved in the restructuring of the board.

Saint, writer, and philosopher Swami Avdheshanand talks on climate change, mutual brotherhood among different classes.

He is invited for this in national and international forums. He is also the chairman of Mahamandeleshwar and Samanvay Seva Trust of Juna Akhara.

There, Prof. Vishwa Murti Shastri has dedicated his life to restoring the culture of India and the upliftment of Sanskrit. He has been awarded the Padma Shri for his contribution to Sanskrit literature.

KN Rai is Versatile Personality: Former Chief Engineer and Advisor to Strategic Projects of DRDO KN Rai is rich in a multifaceted personality.

He has been a great civil engineer of his time, to the credit of planning, designing, and building all 50 specialized establishments and labs of DRDO.

Before joining DRDO, Rai served in the Indian Army Corps of Engineers from 1969 to 1988.

KN, Secretary in the Ministry of Aviation: KN Srivastava is a 1978 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of Karnataka cadre.

He has also been the Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Srivastava, who was instrumental in starting the Bangalore Metro Rail Project, was the first Managing Director of the project.

He is such an officer, who was selected for IFS, IRS, IPS, and IAS. After retiring in 2013, Srivastava served as an administrative member.

Other members of the Shrine Board are Dr. Shailesh Raina, Chairman and Director, Urology and Renal Transplantation at Jaslok Hospital Mumbai.

Originally from Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Raina started the transplant at GMC Jammu Srinagar. He consults budding Urology doctors of J&K and is traditionally and culturally associated with J&K.

Kailash Mehra Sadhu worked as an instructor in the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Arts, Culture, and Languages.

She is currently a Professor of Music at Maulana Azad Memorial College. She is a disciple of Pandit Swaroop Nath and Pandit Shambhunath Sopori.

Advocate DC Raina has been the Advocate General of Jammu and Kashmir. He has also been the President of Bar Association Jammu.

Former Chief Vigilance Commissioner and IGP Pitambar Lal Gupta is a retired IPS officer.

During his services, he served as a fearless, loyal police officer and helped in improving the internal security of Jammu and Kashmir.
