SEBI Saa₹thi App: SEBI Launches Saa₹thi Mobile App

SEBI Saa₹thi App: SEBI launches Saa₹thi mobile app for investors, know what will work.

Amid the growing trend of stock trading through mobile, capital markets regulator SEBI on Wednesday launched its mobile app Saa₹thi.

This aim was launched to create awareness about the fundamental concepts of the securities market among investors.

Launching app, Ajay Tyagi, Chairman, SEBI said, “This mobile app is yet another initiative of SEBI with a vision to empower investors with knowledge about the securities market.”

He added that with the recent entry of individual investors into the market, importantly, a large part of trading is based on mobile phones, this app will help in accessing relevant information easily.

He further said that in the coming time this app will be popular among investors and especially the youth. Tyagi said that the app will be made available in regional languages later on.

Currently, this app is available in Hindi and English. The Android and iOS versions of the app can be downloaded from the Play Store and App Store respectively.

SEBI Mobile App aims to create awareness among investors about basic concepts of the securities market, KYC process, trading and settlement, mutual funds, recent developments in the market, investor grievance redressal mechanism, etc.

It is worth noting that earlier recently, Sebi had introduced a great tool to settle the investor’s complaint at the earliest.

These are ‘online’ scores (SCORES Portal). The market regulator had asked investors to register their grievances through the ‘online’ SCORES portal for effective disposal.

SCORES stands for SEBI Grievance Redressal System.

SEBI has further asked the stock exchanges including commodity futures markets, depositories, and clearing corporations to display the option of registering complaints with them directly on the home page of its website and mobile app to increase awareness about the online grievance redressal mechanism.

Simultaneously they were directed to display links to download the SCORES mobile app along with the SCORES website on the home page of their website and mobile app.
