Sedition case registered against Ayesha Sultana, Lakshadweep Police takes action on ‘biological weapon’ remark.

The Union Territory of Lakshadweep has been in controversy for the past several days. The reason behind this is being told about the changes made by the administrator of the Union Terrority, Praful Patel.

In such a situation, now the Lakshadweep Police has registered an FIR against filmmaker Ayash Sultana. The actress has been booked for sedition for her remark about a ‘biological weapon’ during a television debate.

The central government used biological weapons to spread corona in Lakshadweep

In fact, a case has been registered against her after BJP’s Lakshadweep unit Akshyaksh Abdul Khadar lodged a complaint with the Kavaratti police.

In his complaint, Khader has alleged that Sultana spread false news about the spread of Corona in the Union Territory during a debate in a Malayalam channel.

Khader said that Sultana had said during a TV debate that the central government used ‘biological weapons’ to spread corona in Lakshadweep.

According to media reports, the Kavaratti police have registered a case against the filmmaker under sections 124A (sedition) and 153B (hate speech) of the Indian Penal Code.

Sultana gave an anti-national statement – Abdul Khader.

Significantly, the BJP leader has alleged in his complaint that Sultana has made an anti-national statement, in which she tarnished the patriotic image of the central government.

Not only this, but the BJP leader has also demanded action against her. Let us tell you that earlier also BJP had protested in Lakshadweep demanding action against the filmmaker.
