Seventy-Eight Thousand Cases Recorded, 29 Lakh Recovered

Seventy-Eight Thousand Cases Recorded, 29 lakh patients recovered. Again, more than Seventy-Eight thousand cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the country. With this, the number of patients has increased from more than 37. At the same time, over 29 lakh patients have been cured.

According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 am on Wednesday (2 September 2020), in the last 24 hours, Seventy-Eight thousand 357 new cases have been reported and 1045 people have died. During this, 62 thousand 026 patients were cured and 10 lakh 12 thousand 367 patients were cured.

According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 37 lakh 69 thousand 524 cases have been reported so far in the country. Of these, eight lakh one thousand 282 active cases, while 29 lakh 19 thousand nine people have been cured. So far, a total of 43 million 37 thousand 201 sample tests have been done. The active case is 21.26 percent, recovery 76.98 percent, and death rate 1.76 percent.

More than eight lakh cases in Maharashtra

In Maharashtra, the number of infected has crossed eight lakh. There have been 15,765 new cases in the state and the total number of infected has reached 8 lakh 8 thousand 306. With 320 new deaths, the death toll has also risen to 24,903. During this period 10,978 patients have also been discharged from the hospital and the total number of patients recovered so far has increased to 5 lakh 84 thousand 537.

There are one lakh 98 thousand 866 active cases. According to data released by the Union Ministry of Health, 54 percent of coronavirus cases in India are reported for deaths between 18 and 44 years of age, while 51 percent for deaths in patients 60 years and older.

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare tweeted that 54% of COVID19 cases are in the age group of 18–44 years but 51% of deaths are in the age group of 60 years and above. According to the ministry, 8 percent of cases under the age of 17 and 1 percent of deaths occur. Of the total coronavirus cases in India, 14 percent and 1 percent of deaths between the age group of 18-25 were recorded.

In the age group 26–44, 40 percent of cases were reported and 11 percent were deaths. Among people aged 45 to 60 years, 36 percent of deaths and 26 percent of cases were reported. In the age group of 60 and above, 51 percent of deaths and 12 percent cases were reported.
