Terrorists attacked a CRPF patrol party in the Zainpora Karalchek area of the Shopian district of South Kashmir this morning. In this attack, a CRPF jawan has been shot.
He has been admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment. At the same time, the search operation of the security forces is going on in search of the terrorists who fled from the spot immediately after the attack.
Confirming the incident, a police official said that some terrorists suddenly opened fire on the CRPF personnel who were patrolling in the Karalchek area of Zainpora.

On the other hand, after a few minutes of the attack, a joint team of SOG, Army, and CRPF reached the area and they have started searching for the terrorists while cordoning off the Karalchek area. Presently the search operation is going on.

The Kathua court has rejected the bail application of Shiv Anand, who was arrested on the charges of heroin smuggling. Police arrested the accused with 5.30 grams of heroin.

On his complaint, the police registered a case and investigated and arrested the accused, and got Amit freed from his possession.
