The State Investigation Agency conducted raids in central Kashmir linked to the 1990 murder of a Kashmiri Pandit woman, Sarla Bhat. Searches targeted homes of ex-JKLF members, including former leader Peer Noorul Haq Shah. Bhat went missing from SKIMS hostel in April 1990 and was later found dead in Srinagar. The SIA recently took over the case.
