The State Investigation Agency conducted raids in central Kashmir linked to the 1990 murder of a Kashmiri Pandit woman, Sarla Bhat. Searches targeted homes of ex-JKLF members, including former leader Peer Noorul Haq Shah. Bhat went missing from SKIMS hostel in April 1990 and was later found dead in Srinagar.
