Six killed, several were injured in fire at a firecracker shop in Tamil Nadu’s Kallakurichi.
Six people were killed when a fire broke out at a firecracker shop in Sankarapuram town of Tamil Nadu’s Kallakurichi district.
Giving more details about this, the police said that around 10 people have been injured in this fire. The injured have been admitted to the emergency.
There is no specific information about how the fire started. Please note that this incident happened last night. Firefighters had to work hard to douse the fire.
According to the information, in view of Diwali, a lot of stock of firecrackers was deposited in the shop. High flames were seen after the fire.

A bench of Justices MR Shah and AS Bopanna had observed that manufacturers like Hindustan Fireworks and Standard Fireworks procured barium in huge quantities and used these chemicals in firecrackers.
