South Africa defeated Sri Lanka In Second ODI. South Africa equalizes with Sri Lanka, defeated badly in the second ODI.

A three-match ODI series is being played between Sri Lanka and South Africa. Two One Day International matches of this series have been organized.

The first match was won by Sri Lanka, while the second match played on Saturday was won by visiting team South Africa by a huge margin.

In this way, the South African team has leveled the account with the host team Sri Lanka. Now the result of the series will come out after the final match.

In fact, Sri Lanka’s team, which won the first match by a margin of 14 runs, was high in the second match, because the visiting team did not have experienced batsman and captain Temba Bavuma.

However, the South African team, which came under the captaincy of Keshav Maharaj, left no stone unturned to defeat the hosts badly.

In a rain-stopped match, South Africa beat Sri Lanka by DLS method by a margin of 67 runs to level the series 1-1.

South Africa team won the toss and elected to bat and on the basis of Jaaneman Malan’s century, the team scored 283 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 47 overs.

Malan played an innings of 121 runs in 135 balls, which included 9 fours and a six. Reeza Hendrix scored 51 runs, while the innings of 43 runs in 27 balls were played by wicketkeeper-batsman Heinrich Klaasen.

On the basis of his flamboyant innings, South Africa’s team reached the score of 283 runs.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka’s team did not get a good start in reply to 284 runs and the first 3 wickets fell on the total score of 19 runs.

After this, there were a couple of partnerships, but the entire Sri Lankan team was bundled out for 197 runs in 36.4 overs. In this way, South Africa won by 67 runs according to the Duckworth-Lewis method.

Charit Aslanka played the biggest innings for Sri Lanka. He scored 77 runs. At the same time, Tabrez Shamsi took five wickets for South Africa.
