Statements Of 24 Employees Of Kanpur DC Office Recorded

Statements of two dozen employees of Kanpur Divisional Commissioner’s office recorded, SIT returned to Lucknow after three days.

In the ongoing investigation against former commissioner Iftikharuddin for running a school of religious fanaticism in the viral video.

On Sunday, the statements of about two registered employees attached to the office and residence of the Divisional Commissioner were recorded.

Chief complainant Bhupesh Awasthi and former CTS Basti president Nirmal Khatri were also among those who recorded the statement.

It is being told that in these statements also many complaints have been made against the former commissioner.

All the videos related to Mohammad Iftikharuddin, former commissioner and currently chairman of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, went viral in the media recently.

In these videos, he is seen arguing in front of supporters at the Divisional Commissioner’s residence during his posting in Kanpur.

The government had constituted a two-member special investigation team under the leadership of DG CBCID BL Meena in this case, in which the other member is ADG Kanpur Zone Bhanu Bhaskar.

The investigation team has been collecting evidence for four days. So far, more than 80 videos have come to the SIT.

Three more new videos were found on Sunday. On the other hand, on Sunday, the SIT started recording the statements of people related to this type.

First of all, the main complainant and the convener of the Math Temple Coordination Committee and National Vice President Bhupesh Awasthi recorded his statement.

The SIT asked him from where he got this video. Apart from this, he also gave many new facts related to the former commissioner to the SIT.

Former CTS Basti president Nirmal Khatri, who accused the former commissioner of conversion, also gave his statement. He repeated the statements given to the media in front of the SIT.

According to the Divisional Commissioner’s office, around 40 employees were called for statements, out of which about 27 recorded their statements on Sunday.

The remaining employees will record their statements on Monday. However, it could not be ascertained what statements the employees gave before the SIT.

Significantly, in the conversation with the media, many employees had made serious allegations against the former commissioner.
