Strategic strengthening to surround China and Pakistan, now tanks and cannons will soon reach the borders. The Border Roads Organization is busy strengthening the army’s readiness to deal with Pakistan and China on both fronts simultaneously.
Due to this, on Monday, eight bridges were launched in Ladakh, 10 in Jammu and Kashmir, three in Himachal, and eight in Uttarakhand. These bridges will play an important role in besieging the enemy.
Through these bridges, army tanks and cannons will reach the border easily from one place to another and will quickly attack the enemy.
New hope for better facilities
Along with this, these bridges have also brought new hope for better facilities for the marginal population. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday dedicated 44 bridges to the country through video conferencing from New Delhi as part of the campaign to strengthen the infrastructure in the border areas.
Seven out of ten bridges built in Jammu and Kashmir are just three to eight kilometers from the border and the Line of Actual Control.
26 new strategic bridges ready in Jammu and Kashmir
Of the 102 major bridges to be built this year in the border regions of the country, 54 have been completed. The Strategic strengthening of the borders is very important.
In order to speed up the operational preparedness of the army following 26-year-old skirmishes with Chinese troops at Galvan in eastern Ladakh, 26 strategically important bridges have been built in Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir.
Border road from Punjab to Jammu ready
Under the central government’s policy of developing infrastructure in the border areas, the construction of the border road along the border with Pakistan from Punjab to Jammu is almost complete.
Construction of a bridge is underway in Kathua. By the time the construction of this bridge is completed, the movement of security forces will be possible from Punjab to any sector of Jammu.
Travel will be easier with two bridges built in Himachal
The Chief Engineer of BRO Deepak Project, MS Baghi, said that the two bridges built in Himachal have made the journey of the strategically important Manali-Leh road more smooth.
Darcha Bridge: A 360-meter long bridge has been constructed in Darcha at an altitude of 10 thousand feet on the Manali-Leh road. This is the longest bridge on this route. Due to its formation, the flood in the Bhaga river will also not stop the movement of vehicles.
Palachan Bridge: This bridge is built at Palachan on the way from Manali to the South Portal of Atal Tunnel. Due to the construction of this bridge, the floods in the mad drain including the Beas river will not affect the traffic.
Strategic strengthening on Nepal and China border also
Eight bridges of strategic importance in Uttarakhand were also merged with the nation on Monday. With the construction of these bridges, it will be easier for the troops deployed on the front fronts of the China border to transport food and other military equipment.
Five of these bridges are built on the Tanakpur-Tawaghat highway. This route goes from Tawaghat to Garbadhar to the China border Lipulekh. From Tawaghat the highway passes through Sobla to the high Himalayan China border to Tidang.
The road from Tanakpur to Tawaghat and Lipulekh has been constructed by the Border Roads Organization (BRO). At the same time, three other bridges are built on the Jauljibi-Munsiyari road.
