Let us tell you that 17 people have committed suicide in the last three years due to online games.

The committee constituted by the government has given a report that online gaming has become an addiction for the people and it also leads to the loss of a huge amount of money.

The central government is also in discussion with the states to bring in new laws or changes in the existing laws to regulate the industry.

A central government study has estimated the number of people playing online games at 400 million in the country and is expected to reach 700 million by 2025.

Many teams are demanding a ban on online games.

Several political parties in the state including Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) are also campaigning to ban online games in the state.

However, government sources told a news agency that if a complete ban is implemented it would lead to several legal battles, and hence it is considering regulation of the game.

This allows only a limited amount of money to be spent in a certain period of time to play the game online.
