Terrorists involved in the Sunjwan attack infiltrated through Samba near the international border.

Both the terrorists had reached Sunjwan by infiltrating through the Basantar river in Samba, NIA investigated near the international border.

The terrorists, who were killed in an encounter in Jammu’s Sunjwan on April 22, had entered the Indian territory by infiltrating from the Basantar river of Samba.

According to defense sources, on the intervening night of April 21-22, both the foreign terrorists had infiltrated from the Basantar river adjoining the border village of Baingald in the Samba district.

After this, both of them had reached the national highway with the help of someone and then reached Sunjwan in Jammu by sitting in a truck.

It is said that both of them had entered for the purpose of committing a big crime, so that the Prime Minister’s visit to the parish on April 24 could be canceled.

The National Investigation Agency is investigating the Sunjwan attack. On Thursday, the agency’s team visited Samba’s Supwal.

The team searched for one and a half hours. The roads and small river channels coming from the international border were closely inspected.

After the terrorist encounter, the security agencies have been able to find out that both the foreign terrorists speaking the Pashto language had infiltrated the Basantar river of Samba.

It is also being investigated whether the terrorists had entered the day of the encounter or were already hiding in a house after the infiltration.

If this has happened, then the rest of the terrorists may be hiding somewhere else and will be trying to carry out some other big incident.

The police are also investigating on their own in this matter. People are also being questioned in the villages adjoining the border.
