The 10th Round Of Military-Level Talks Between India And China

The 10th round of military-level talks between India and China will be held tomorrow, to discuss the withdrawal of troops from other areas after Pangong.

India and China will hold the 10th round of military-level talks from 10 am on Saturday, after the withdrawal of troops from the Pangong Lake area in eastern Ladakh.

Military sources have given information about this. The talks will be held at Moldo Border Point, which is under China’s control.

It is reported that after retreating from the northern and southern shores of Pangong Lake, the two sides will negotiate a retreat process from elsewhere, where the deadlock situation remains.

The Foreign Ministry (MEA) said last week that after continuous talks at the military and diplomatic level, it was agreed to end the confrontation between India and the Chinese military on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Let us know that in the past, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had told in Parliament that an agreement has been reached between the two countries to reduce tension.

Under this, both sides will withdraw their troops stationed on the advance front in a phased manner.

He had said that India’s strategy and approach during the talks with China are based on the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

We will not allow anyone to take even an inch of our area. It is a result of our determination that we have reached a compromise position.

Explain that according to the agreement to end the military confrontation in the Pangong area, it was agreed to return the troops of both the countries from their forward front and ensure the situation before April 2020.

Under the agreement to end the military standoff in the Pangong Lake area, the Chinese Army will remain at its old position from Finger Eight to the east, near Pangong Lake.

At the same time, the Indian Army will remain on the permanent base of Dhan Singh Thapa Post near Finger-3.

In May 2020, India took an aggressive stand after border violations by Chinese troops and deployed thousands of troops. This added to the tension.

Earlier, military-level talks between the two countries were held on 23 January amid tension between the two countries from May 2020. Both countries termed it positive.

Also said that this increased mutual understanding about the deadlock. During this time, the withdrawal of troops was discussed very clearly between the two sides.

As a result, the two sides agreed to withdraw from the Pangong Lake area of eastern Ladakh. Violent clashes between the two armies also took place in the Galwan Valley in June.
