VHP To Raise Funds For Ram Temple In Karnataka

VHP to raise funds for Ram temple in Karnataka, 5 lakh volunteers to be part of the campaign.

While the construction work of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya (Ayodhya Ram Mandir) is going on fast, the effort to raise funds for this has also intensified.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has decided to undertake a campaign to raise funds in Karnataka from 15 January to 27 February next year for temple construction.

More than five lakh volunteers will be engaged in this work. This information was given by VHP International Executive Chairman Alok Kumar on Tuesday.

He said that groups of volunteers would be formed. These groups will visit 90,000 devotees in 27,500 villages of the state to obtain ‘Nidhi Surrender’ (donations for the temple).

Shri Ram Mandir Nidhi Samman Abhiyan Committee has been formed to keep an eye on it.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh officer N Thippeswamy will be the secretary of the Karnataka Committee. There will also be a committee of saints to guide the committee.

He said that the amount of 10 rupees, 100 rupees, and one thousand rupees will be collected through tokens.

Those who donate more than two thousand rupees will be given a receipt. The amount donated will be exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

ADG will monitor the investigation of violence in the Vistron iPhone factory

Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Pratap Reddy will oversee the investigation into the recent violence at the iPhone factory of Kolar, headquartered in Taiwan.

The Karnataka government has decided to this effect on the instructions of the state Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

The Home Minister chaired a meeting of senior administrative and police officers in this regard on Monday. Additional Chief Secretary Rajneesh Goyal and Director General of Police Pravin Sood were also present.

No specific deadline has been set for completing the investigation.

Let me tell you that on December 12, workers came out on violence at the Wistron iPhone manufacturing plant in Narasapur in Kolar district for allegedly delaying in payment of salary and overtime allowances.

Wistron said on Saturday that he had sacked the vice president who oversees the company’s business in India.
