Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is preparing to celebrate Ramotsav with pomp across the country this year. Due to Corona, this annual festival of VHP was affected for the last two years.
It will start from Pratipada-April 2 next month and will continue till April 16, Hanuman Jayanti.
This festival of Ram will be celebrated in more than five lakh villages, towns, and cities of the country for a fortnight.
The special thing is that this year rallies and meetings will be organized on a large scale along with processions, yatras.
Similarly, religious rituals will take place in monasteries and religious centers. Every year the VHP celebrates the Hindu calendar from New Year to Hanuman Jayanti as Ramotsav.
In the year 2019, the Supreme Court had given a historic verdict regarding the Ram Janmasthan temple in Ayodhya.
After that, from March 2020, cases of corona infection started coming in the country, due to which this festival of VHP was being celebrated in a limited scope under the shadow of restrictions for the last two years.
This year, when the cases of infection are minimum in the whole country, the council has made preparations to give it grandeur.
At the same time, preparations have been made to reach at least those places and Ram devotees, who were associated with the fund surrender campaign for the reconstruction of the Ram temple last year.
In such a situation, festivals will be organized in more than five lakh places.
VHP working president Alok Kumar said that it is a matter of relief that the cases of infection are minimal.
Along with this, the restrictions related to this have also been removed by the administration. In such a situation, there will be special public festivals this year.
Ramotsav will be celebrated in the open and with the participation of the people.
Efforts will be made to organize events in every village of the whole country and bring the values of Ram into their lives, only then the dream of Ram Rajya will be realized.
The festival will culminate on April 16 with Hanuman Chalisa recitation and aarti in temples.
