‘Proud moment for India’, Rajnath Singh lays foundation stone of Naval Radar Station in Telangana. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of the Navy’s Very Low Frequency (VLF) radar station in the Damagundam forest area of ​​Telangana. On this occasion, he said that India believes in connecting everyone, not breaking. That is why we are taking every possible step to take our friendly neighboring countries along. The Defence Minister gave this message to the neighboring countries sharing a maritime border with India and said that maritime security is a collective effort. Inviting external forces will harm the efforts of unity.

The country’s second radar station to be built in Vikarabad

He said that when the Navy’s VLF becomes operational, it will be important for the maritime forces. This radar station to be built in Vikarabad, Telangana is the Navy’s second VLF communication transmission station in the country.

The INS Kattabomman radar station in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu is the first station of its kind. According to a Telangana government statement, state Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar were also present on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of the radar station.

Earlier, while talking to reporters in Hyderabad, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said that this is a proud moment for Telangana, as it is the second project (radar station) in the country, which is important for national security.

Rajnath Singh launched 75 BRO projects, with benefits for 11 states, including Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday dedicated 75 infrastructure projects of Border Roads Organization (BRO) worth Rs 2,236 crore to the nation in a program organized virtually. These projects include 22 roads, 51 bridges, and two others. These are spread across 11 states/union territories.

These projects include 19 projects in Jammu and Kashmir, 18 in Arunachal Pradesh, 11 in Ladakh, nine in Uttarakhand, six in Sikkim, five in Himachal Pradesh, two each in Bengal and Rajasthan, as well as one each in Mizoram, Nagaland, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The Defence Minister inaugurated the projects from the headquarters of the Tri Shakti Corps in Sukna, Bengal.

The inauguration of the Kupup-Sherathang road in Sikkim was the most important

One of the main attractions among these was the inauguration of the Kupup-Sherathang road in Sikkim. It will serve as an important link between Jawaharlal Nehru Marg and Taluk Marg. In his address, the Defence Minister described these projects as proof of the government’s unwavering resolve to strengthen border infrastructure and ensure the socio-economic progress of these areas.

He said that these projects will prove to be a milestone in enhancing the country’s defense preparedness. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of a developed India by 2047 can be realized only through such infrastructure projects.
