Armed Forces Veterans Day today, CDS along with the three army chiefs laid a wreath at the National War Memorial.

CDS General Anil Chauhan and the three service chiefs – Army Chief General Manoj Pandey, Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary, and Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar laid wreaths on the National War Memorial at the event of Armed Forces Veterans Day.

Armed Forces Veterans Day is celebrated every year on 14 January because on this day, in 1953, the first Indian Commander-in-Chief (C-in-C) of the Indian Army, Field Marshal KM Cariappa, who led the Indian Army Was formally retired from the services in 1947 for the victory in the war against Pakistan.

The first Armed Forces Veterans Day become celebrated on January 14, 2016. It was decided to celebrate the day every year by hosting events in honor of ex-servicemen and their families.

Srinagar Terrorist Activities: The accused was arrested for issuing threatening posters of the terrorist organization Lone Wolf.

Police have tightened their noose on Lone Wolf Warrior, a terrorist organization that became active in Kashmir last year.

The overground worker who had issued threatening posters of this terrorist organization was arrested in Pattan in North Kashmir on Thursday. Posters of Lone Wolf have also been recovered.

Its posters have been found in Srinagar, Pahalgam, Baramulla, and some other areas of South Kashmir last year.

The accused is being questioned. Concerned police officers told that at present no active terrorist has been found in Kashmir till now. This organization is limited to internet media or posters.

The outfit has issued posters threatening to target Kashmiri Hindus in Valley, workers from other states, and liquor shops in Baramulla, Pahalgam, and other areas.

Threats to target civilians.

On 22 December 2022, posters issued by Lone Wolf Warrior were found pasted at a few places in Tantrapora Palhalan, Baramulla, North Kashmir.

In these posters, condemning the government order to open liquor shops in Pahalgam, the plaintiff threatened to target citizens of other states.
