Additional Collector’s property worth 3.36 crore seized, ACB raids: Telangana. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Telangana on Sunday registered a case of disproportionate assets by seizing assets worth Rs 3.36 crore (government value) of an Additional Collector of Medak district of the state.

The ACB has raided several places from where Additional Collector’s property worth crores of rupees have been found. It has a duplex villa, house plots, agricultural land, bank balance, and vehicles.

According to the ACB’s official statement, ‘Gaddam Nagesh, Additional Collector (Under Suspension) of Medak District on the basis of credible information has acquired corrupt conduct and suspiciously disproportionate assets during his service as a public servant.

A case of the dissatisfied property was filed by ACB.

The ACB said that searches were conducted simultaneously at several places in Medchal, Medak, Nizamabad, and Hyderabad districts.

Meanwhile, ACB has so far received a duplex villa, house plots, agricultural land, bank balance, and vehicles worth crores of rupees.

The statement said, “The government value of the properties so far has been around Rs 3.26 crore, whereas its market value will be very high. ACB’s search is still on.

Apart from this, the statement said that the case of large scale corruption by the accused during the period of his office with the district administration was revealed. A case was then registered against the first accused and then investigated.
