AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria Warns 80% Of Patients Infected
AIIMS director Randeep Guleria warns 80% of patients infected with Corona, a big thing. Many patients have suffered from stroke due to corona. Even after recovering, the quality of life has been affected. Dr. Randeep Guleria (AIIMS director Randeep Guleria), director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, said that most people have a mild infection due to coronavirus.
Despite this, do not make the mistake of taking COVID 19 lightly, because even after recovering from the corona, some problems are seen in 60 to 80 percent of the patients.
This problem can also be mild like body ache, but it is a matter of concern that some patients are facing serious problems related to the lungs and heart. He was addressing the National Grand Round-7 online event on Wednesday. He advised doctors across the country to be prepared to deal with the post-corona challenges.
He said many patients continue to have weak lungs even after recovering from the corona. This has caused them to need oxygen for a long time. Severe fibrosis is seen in the lungs of such patients. He said that the lungs of two patients who had recovered from the corona were damaged, they have been advised to undergo a transplant.
He said, however, that a patient recently recovered from Corona in Chennai has also been transplanted to lungs. AIIMS has not yet had a lung transplant, but the institute has developed the facility. AIIMS also holds its license.
Quality of life affected
AIIMS director Dr. Guleria said that many patients have been suffering from stroke due to corona. Even after recovering, his quality of life has been affected. Recently, AIIMS doctors said that 31 patients have been seen suffering from stroke due to corona.
Similarly, heart disease is also seen in many patients. The Government of India has said in a letter to the Government of Karnataka that it has no objection to the renaming of Hubli railway station.
“We have no objection to changing the name of Hubli Railway Station to Shree Siddharoodha Swamiji Railway Station Hubballi,” it has been written on behalf of the Central Government Secretary.
