Amarnath Yatra Concluded On The Day Of Shravan Purnima Today

Amarnath Yatra concluded with Chadi Mubarak darshan in the holy cave: Baba Amarnath Yatra 2021.

The annual yatra of Shri Baba Amarnath concluded today on the day of Shravan Purnima Raksha Bandhan.

Chadi Mubarak under the leadership of Mahant Dipendra Giri of Dashnami Akhara Srinagar visited the holy cave today.

This time the journey was canceled due to the situation arising out of Corona. It was only a symbolic journey.

Aarti was telecast daily live from the holy cave of Baba Barfani. It was decided to start the yatra of Baba Amarnath on June 28, but the yatra was canceled due to the situation arising out of Corona.

The trip was canceled for the second year in a row. This time the aarti was broadcast live from the holy cave of Baba Barfani.

Shiva devotees had darshan of Shivling in the holy cave as soon as they sat at home. Today, on the day of Raksha Bandhan, Chadi Mubarak reached the holy cave site by helicopter.

Officers of Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board, security forces, administrative and police officers were also present.

Chadi Mubarak duly offered prayers. With this, the symbolic Baba Amarnath Yatra came to an end.

This year three langars were installed so that the employees, security forces do not face any problems. Chadi Mubarak and Shrine Board officials prayed for peace, prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.

It is said that this time Baba Barfani Langar Organization had opposed the cancellation of the yatra.

Even though the yatra has been canceled, the government has started construction of Yatri Niwas in Srinagar to provide facilities to the passengers next year.

On August 6, the Lieutenant Governor had laid the foundation stone of the Yatri Niwas at Panth Chowk, Srinagar.

For this, the government has provided 25 kanals of land to the Shrine Board on a lease of forty years.
