On the other hand, on Wednesday also, the High Court asked Amritpal’s lawyer to tell in which police station Amritampal is lodged since Amritpal’s lawyers had claimed that the police had arrested him.

A Punjab Police team is said to have chased an Innova car in Marniyan village.

Police suspect that Khalistan sympathizer Amritpal Singh and his aide Papalpreet, who are on the run since March 19, along with two others, were in Hoshiarpur near Phagwara.

Police have said that Amritpal was going to Delhi last night to give an interview to a channel in a car along with three others.

It is being told that car number PB-10-CK-0527 was going to Gurudwara Bhai Chanchal Singh of the village. The pass stopped, after which the occupants fled away.

Amritpal appeared with Papalpreet on March 21.
