Bengaluru violence: A relative of MLA Akhand Srinivasamoorthy was arrested last night for allegedly posting anti-Muslim sentiments. Thousands of people set out on fire at the village police station and the house of Akhand Srinivas Murthy at Kaval Bhairasandra. Police have opened fire on a group of people who set fire to a house of Srinivas. The three have died and the condition of the three is serious. Police were also severely injured in the riot.
Police have arrested 110 people in connection with the riots that took place around 9 am yesterday morning. A search has been conducted for more accused. Three people have died in the incident. More than 10 people were injured by gunfire. More than 10 cases have been registered in this case.
Thousands of KG. Muslims gathered in front of the village police station to protest. Thus, all the Police Inspectors and Staff of the Eastern Division were sent to KG.
